Wind Systems
As part of DynGlobal’s commitment to providing our customers innovative, reliable and sustainable energy technologies, we have partnered with one of the world’s leading wind turbine suppliers, GE.
Wind power is quickly becoming a popular energy source as the demand for clean, cost effective energy grows.
Wind energy companies are not just large utility companies. They can also be small businesses that own or lease their own small wind turbines to generate and store energy for their own use.
GE has installed over 11,600 wind turbines worldwide comprising more than 18,000 MW of capacity and has over two decades of knowledge and experience.
Environmental Benefit
A 100 MW wind farm, over the course of its 20-year lifetime, has the capacity to generate an amount of electricity that would require approximately 2.9 million tons of coal or over 62 billion cubic feet of natural gas to be generated by traditional U.S. grid sources.
Operating Benefit
GE’s global installed base of over 11,600 wind turbines has the capacity to produce approximately 52 million of MWh of electricity annually, which would be the equivalent to avoiding the emission of 31 million metric tons of CO2 from traditional US grid sources or to the CO2 emissions of more than 6 million cars on U.S. roads per year.
